Over 3 years, OSEP worked with OxLEP, Oxfordshire’s Local Enterprise Partnership, to deliver eScalate, a three-year project, part funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) which ended in April 2023 to support Social Enterprises, social entrepreneurs, enterprising charities and purposeful businesses in Oxfordshire.
OSEP supported over 450 businesses during the programme, including 650 hours of 1:1 support.
As well as 1:1 support, the programme also offered workshops, peer groups, start up business boot camps, social impact festivals and grant funding, with £363,152 awarded to 32 organisations through the eScalate programme.
72% of the organisations believed their beneficaries had benefitted from improvements made since engaging with the programme.
We have benefited from 121 sessions through the eScalate programme, as well as invaluable networking opportunities, new contacts, information sharing and finding out about funding opportunities. We’re very proud to be part of the eScalate community, and look forward to developing further links going forwards.
