eScalate Business Support Programme

OSEP is delighted to be working with OxLEP, Oxfordshire's Local Enterprise Partnership, to deliver a Eurpoean Funded support programme for enterprising charities, social enterprises, purposeful businesses and social entrepreneurs. 

This three-year business support programme, eScalate, is now live and offering support to those who would like support to develop new business models, higher-quality products, processes, services or specific products to boost productivity or resource efficiency.

This support includes:

  • Specialist 1:1 support
  • Facilitated peer to peer support
  • Leadership and Business Sustainability programme
  • Social Enterprise Hubs
  • Social Enterprise platform
  • Access to Finance for Social Enterprises

Specialist 1:1 support

We have a specialist Enterprise Support Manager available to provide up to 12 hours of free support and guidance tailor-made for you. Support includes:

  • Business development
  • Funding opportunities
  • Local and national information and resources
  • Opportunities through local and national themes, agendas and campaigns
  • Connections and introductions to local key stakeholders and potential partners/collaborators
  • Connections and introductions to local and national networks and events
  • Signposting to other elements of the eScalate programme including:
    • Peer support group
    • Local Hub network
    • Leadership development programme
    • Events and workshops
    • eScalate grants
    • Access to Finance

How the support is provided: The support commences with an initial phone or email conversation, followed by a face to face meeting. At the meeting, which takes approximately an hour, the Enterprise Support Manager will gather information about your organisation, its aspirations, challenges and support requirements. You will also learn about what’s available through the programme and how you can be supported through it. If you’d like to take part, there is an application form to complete, which the Enterprise Support Manager will help you with.

The Enterprise Support Manager will then follow up where relevant on the topics raised and opportunities for support and signposting and keep in touch via email. He will also be available should you wish to seek further and additional support. 

Social Enterprise Hubs

As part of this we have some exciting launches of brilliant eScalate Hubs, which will be a focal point for a lot of this support through workshops, events and peer support groups. There is bound to be one near you, so what not come along?:
